_App Design
We designed and developed a mobile app for The Wildlife Trusts, working with the charity's badger marque, deep green palette and editorial serif typography. The home screen leads with rich nature photography — a kingfisher hero backed by a swipeable carousel of facts about the Trusts' work — above an introduction to the movement and tiles for seasonal activities, days out and ways to get involved. Deeper content pages, such as Living Landscapes, combine aerial imagery with clear explanations of how land is used across farming, water, soils and carbon, and planning. A persistent bottom navigation gives quick access to webcams, the AR trail, panoramas and donations.
_Augmented Reality
The AR trail brings nature into the room. Scanning a marker summons a 3D squirrel and hollow log into the user's real surroundings through the camera, with a playful menu of animations to trigger — from a walk cycle and jumping to a samba dance.
_3D
We modelled and textured the squirrel character and its log ourselves, keeping the style warm and softly stylised so it reads clearly on a phone screen at any scale.
